The Membership Contract
Article 1. (Membership)
1. A ""member"" is an individual who has registered to become a member upon agreeing to our terms and conditions.
2. ""Member information"" regards any information that the member has sent to our company or alternatively, information gathered from any transactions between the member and our company.
3. All members are required to read and agree to the membership contract at some point, before or after registration.
Article 2 (Registration)
1. Membership
Membership is granted to those who have agreed to our contract and have undergone the necessary procedures. Member registration must be done by the applicant in person. We do not accept membership registrations from a third party on behalf of the applicant. In some cases, members who have been banned from our services in the past and individuals who we consider unsuitable for membership for one reason or another may be barred from registering.
2. Filling Out Your Information
During the registration process, please make sure that you have read all the precautionar notes and that you have entered all the required fields. Please note that special symbols including, old Chinese characters and Roman numerals cannot be used. If you do use such symbols, they are subject to our modification.
3. Password Security
1.) The member is the sole owner of his or her password, giving or lending a password to a third party is prohibited.
2.) It is your responsibility to change your password on a regular basis for security purposes.
3.) Members must take full responsibility for any transactions made under their password.
Article 3 (Updating Personal Information)
1. Members must keep their personal information up to date (name, address, etc.)
2. If you do not update your personal information, we cannot take responsibility for any inconveniences which may result from an obsolete profile.
Article 4 (Cancellation of Membership)
If a member wishes to cancel their membership, they must undergo the cancellation procedures personally. Once these procedures have been completed, the membership has been officially terminated. Also, any transactions made prior to the update will be processed using the old information.
Article 5 (Membership Losses and Compensation)
(1.) Membership can be terminated by our company if we discover that forged information has been entered during the registration process.
(2.) Members are subject to financial suits under the below conditions.
(3.) Abusing a membership code or password.
(4.) Hacking our website and interfering with our operation in any shape or form.
(3.) Infringing on intellectual rights regarding products and information found on our website.
(4.) Any other infringements of the membership contract.
Article 6 (Handling of Membership Information)
1. We will not give your personal information or member information to a third party without your consent. However, under the following circumstances we may be obliged to disclose your personal information to a third party.
(1.) If we are obligated by national law to hand over your personal information.
(2.) If the disclosure of your information is a critical factor in maintaining our properties, honor as well as moral rights.
2. We will protect your personal information under the terms stated in the ""Security of Personal Information"". We may use your personal information for the following purposes; offering our members a service, improving on our services, promoting a service and its benefits, and in order to maintain our operation and services.
3. Member's will receive such information regarding our services through our magazine (which includes advertisements).
If a member no longer wishes to receive such information via mail, we will stop sending them upon request. However, this excludes subscriptions which are required services.
Article 7 (Prohibited Uses)
The following actions are prohibited upon using our services.
1. Infringing on the membership contract or the Japanese law.
2. Any actions which may infringe on the rights, due profits and honor of our company and other third parties.
3. Actions which may physically or psychologically harm a minor, as well as general disregard for public morals.
4. Disturbing or interfering with the operations of third parties or other members.
5. Submitting forged information.
6. Sending malicious and or harmful e-mails or computer viruses.
7. Accessing our server with malicious intentions.
8. Lending, giving or sharing your password with a third party.
9. Any other actions which we consider to be harmful and unnecessary.
Article 8 (Termination of Our Services)
1. We may terminate some or all of our services under the following conditions.
(1.) During our regular site maintenance hours, as well as emergency cases.
(2.) During a system overload.
(3.) If the system is demobilized by a blackout, a fire or a third party.
(4.) Other plausible situations where we have no choice but to shut down the system.
Article 9 (Service Modification / Banning Members)
We have the right to limit or ban members from a service without notification.
Article 10 (Immunity From Responsibility)
1. We cannot take responsibility for any inconveniences and losses caused by your computer hardware or internet connection. Such cases can include the inability to access the system through your computer, a slow connection, the loss of data, and hacked membership accounts.
2. We cannot guarantee that e-mails sent from our webpage server domain are virus-free.
3. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses which result from a contract breach.
Article 11 (Contract Revision)
The contract can be revised and modified voluntarily by the company. In addition, we may add to supplementary terms to the contract which are referred to as “supplementary terms.” Revisions and modifications to the contract are valid as soon as they are uploaded onto our website. In these situations, all members must comply with the revised contract.
Article 12 (Governing Laws, Court of Jurisdiction)
If any form of warfare or conflict occurs as a result of our operations, the regional court of our headquarters will hold jurisdiction over court cases.
